The Everhard Lift is hidden underground until it is needed. Enclosed rails rising out of the ground are the first indication that a lift is present. Because of the lift's sturdy construction, its platform can be covered with material matching the surrounding surface - concrete, asphalt, bricks or paving stone - further enhancing the lift's appearance.

The Everhard Lift can be custom designed to fit special needs. The lift can be adapted to blend with many architectural styles, allowing one to balance the needs for handicapped access with historic preservation. It is appropriate for retrofit or new construction.
The Everhard Lift is easy to operate either from the lift or from either call station. The lift provides smooth, safe transition for wheelchair users and persons with limited mobility.

The Everhard Lift is constructed of high grade steel. There are few moving parts, so the cost of maintenance is low. The lift sits in a sturdy concrete pit that is kept dry with a sump pump or natural drain.

The Everhard Lift meets all pertinent requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and fully complies with A.S.M.E. A17.1 and A18.1.
